The story
Why strawberries taste better the day they are picked.
Strawberries do not ripen after picking — they only soften. The sugar stops rising the moment they leave the plant, so a berry picked this morning simply tastes more like a strawberry than one picked a week ago.
We source from Mahabaleshwar in the winter window and handle every punnet like it is full of eggs. That is not marketing; it is the only way berries survive.
